Let’s build a Fairy House!

Fairy house building is a fun and creative activity for all, young and old, that encourages the builder to connect with the natural world, in an environmentally friendly way. It's also a great way to encourage imagination and creativity. The Girls Art Corner team will walk you through the process of building a most wonderful Fairy house using elements form nature! You will be able to add your special touch to make your house even more magical, while learning the traditions that surround the making of those wonderful little houses in majestic gardens. You will use materials that we have collected in nature like sticks, leaves, pebbles, and flowers to construct the house. A May pole with coloured ribbons will also be part of your decor. Finally, in this 3-4 hour workshop, you will not only learn about Fairy house building but also what is Beltane, when it is celebrated and how you can celebrate it, all while enjoying a delicious slice of Honey cake to inspire your creation!
